Let us tell you our History

The Red de Arboles Foundation was born in 2015 out of the desire to support the conservation of our ecosystems and contribute to reducing the environmental impact that is generated every day. This is done mainly with the support of the company Grupo NW SAS, who donate a percentage for each product sold.

The sole purpose of our foundation is to plant trees in areas affected by human activities and natural disasters. We have planted more than 147.466 native trees in different places in Colombia, such as Medellín, Cali, Mosquera, Cota and Bogotá.

Thanks to the companies and individuals who have made it possible to make this contribution to our ecosystems.

This is only the beginning!

We look forward to supporting the recovery of many more places in our country.

Reforest all those areas affected by natural risks or by human activities that have transformed the landscape.

To be a globally recognized non-profit organization for promoting respect, care and restoration of nature.

In the period between 1966 and 1998, 16.8 million hectares of forests were felled in the country; this is equivalent in figures rounded down to an average deforestation rate of 500 thousand hectares per year.

Therefore we must be aware of the social problems in the burning and felling of trees. In the last 50 years, approximately 25 million hectares have been cut down in Colombia.

Sustenance:

We are a non-profit foundation. We count on the contributions made by GRUPO NW, who allocate a percentage for each project to fulfill our objectives.

Follow-up:

Through the correct planning of each activity, the organization of resources and mobile technology, the geographical coordinates of each planted tree will be obtained.

With this, we will carry out an inventory of our operations and virtually associate the trees planted with those who have contributed to said work. We will also display the locations on this page publicly.

Present:

We have planted more than 147.466 trees. We started projects of: construction of nurseries, new agreements with land to be reforested, internationalization and environmental compensation. We remain committed to reforestation.
